1996
German Drummer Claas Sandbothe (aka DJ DBA) went to London for a year. There he became a (tabla) student of Talvin Singh , who also introduced him to production and dj-ing. A year later he started working with Singh and Lelonek (Singh's Engineer) in their studios

1998
He played his first dj-set at Anokha. There he had the freedom to develop his own style by mixing Indian and African sounds with UK breakbeats and DnB - and became a resident in 2000.

Since then he has done tours with Talvin Singh and worked together with Cleveland Warkiss (UK), Smadj (FR), DJ Equal-i (UK), Reflections Band (GER), Culture Clash Sound System (GER) a. o.

Since 2003 he is Lelonek's label and production partner at "1K Records".
